New Canaan Drivers: Roadwork Closes a Lane Thursday on Merritt in Westport, Another on I-95 in Norwalk
Each lane closure is on a right lane on the northbound-traffic side of each highway. Both are closed sometime between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
A northbound-traffic lane on Interstate 95 in Norwalk and a northbound traffic lane on the Merritt Parkway in Westport are each closed until 3 p.m. today (Thursday), the Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced.
The DOT gives “road work” as the reason. The closures affect the right lanes on each highway. Other lanes remain open.
The lane closure in Norwalk is between I-95 Exits 13 and 15.
