Ten Thousand Villages will donate 15% of purchases towards ebola treatment efforts in Africa.

Shop for a cause in New Canaan on Friday.
Nonprofit retailer Ten Thousand Villages, one of the largest fair trade organizations and a founding member of the World Fair Trade Organization, will host a charity shopping event on Friday, Oct. 24 in support of Partners in Health.
Partners in Health will staff and support three Ebola treatment units in Liberia, and one in Sierra Leone, working to strengthen local clinics and ensure high quality care for these high-risk communities. Ten Thousand Villages partners with hundreds of artisans in Africa to bring their handicrafts to the U.S. market.

To help Partners in Health in their support and relief efforts, the Ten Thousand Villages will donate 15% from every purchase made online or in-store to the organization. The store sells a variety of apparel, jewelry, serving items and decorative accessories for home and garden.
