Should Dogs be Allowed Inside Bristow Sanctuary?
New Canaan will have an info session Wednesday night and public comment will be allowed.

An informational session about Bristow Sanctuary has been scheduled for Wednesday night.
There have been pushes to ban dogs from the parcel of land, according to the New Canaanite. Some complain that dogs run off-leash in the area.
There is also an effort to re-introduce ground-nesting birds, but that has been made difficult by deer who are destroying ground coverage.

Public comment will be allowed at the special meeting, which is being held at 7:30 p.m. at the New Canaan Nature Center.
The nearly 17-acre parcel of land was sold to the town in 1934 with the purpose of creating a bird sanctuary and wildwood preserve, according to the New Canaan Advertiser.
