New Canaan Boys U14 Reds continue early season form with first away win
New Canaan achieved their first away win of the season with a laboured 3-1 victory over Wilton. New Canaan created enough chances to settle the match comfortably by half-time, but had to wait until late in the game to settle things. Grant Carlson scored all three goals to claim a well deserved Hat-Trick. The Reds defended well throughout the game and most of the best passing moves were started from the back. Ben Conley, Spencer Frye and Sean Manzella all put in solid performances to keep Wilton at bay. The strongest defensive play came from Nathaniel Bozzella making great interceptions and even finding enough time to have a header cleared off the Wilton goal line. The midfield operated well with some strong runs down the flanks from Max Koschnitzke.
Well played boys!
