St. Luke's 16th State of the School

New Canaan's Local Private School Celebrates Community & Mission

On October 5th hundreds of parents gathered for the 16th Annual St. Luke's State of the School. The Parents’ Association hosted cocktails and supper, followed by a presentation by St. Luke's Head of School Mark Davis and Board Chair James Andersen.

The theme of the night was "Momentum"—the force behind St. Luke's growth and success over the last decade plus. Faculty and students, in person and on video, brought St. Luke's mission to life.

Highlights included presentation of the Edward B. Blakely Distinguished Faculty Award to Assistant Head of Middle School Mark Chuhta and a performance by members of the school's Blues Band—an unusual combination of outstanding student and faculty musicians.
