St. Luke's Musical Talents Celebrate the Holiday Season

St. Luke's Middle School and Upper School bands and choirs fill the School with beautiful music during the winter concerts.

The St. Luke’s Seldin Performing Arts Center was filled with seasonal music from St. Luke’s bands and choirs. The evening of Wednesday, December 10 was filled with horns, woodwinds, percussion, and a bit of storytelling during the Winter Band Concert.

The fantastically talented musicians of the Band 6, Prep Band, Concert Band, and Jazz Band performed under the direction of Bob Leinbach and Peter Valera. More than 120 students prepared for this concert over the past few months and their audience was not disappointed.

On the evenings of December 17 and 18, the Upper and Middle School Choirs performed timeless and culturally diverse songs of the holiday season and beyond. Under the direction of St. Luke’s Music Chair, Dale Griffa, and Katie Kaplan the choirs and a cappella groups filled the concert hall with beautiful melodies. Over 250 students performed throughout the two shows.
