State's Attorney Seeks To Modify Fotis Dulos' Bond: Report

Fotis Dulos is facing murder charges in the killing of his estranged wife, Jennifer Farber Dulos. BREAKING

STAMFORD, CT — State's Attorney Richard Colangelo on Wednesday filed a court motion seeking to modify Fotis Dulos' bond in the Jennifer Farber Dulos murder case for what Colangelo claims was a violation, reports News 12 Connecticut's Marissa Alter.

In the motion filed in Stamford Superior Court, Colangelo claims on Jan. 17, Fotis Dulos was seen getting out of his vehicle at the end of Jefferson Crossing in Farmington, the road where he lives, and removing items from a make-shift memorial that had been set up on the corner.

The memorial was in honor of Jennifer Dulos, writes the Hartford Courant.

"This is in violation of the term of his release," Colangelo wrote. The motion reportedly is scheduled to be discussed in court on Thursday before Judge John Blawie.

Fotis Dulos is under house arrest and must wear a GPS device as part of the conditions of his release. He is free awaiting trial after posting more than $400,000 on bail of $6 million in connection with the case, and is only allowed certain movements as it pertains to business.

Dulos has been charged with murder, felony murder and kidnapping in connection with the killing of New Canaan resident and mother-of-five Jennifer Dulos, who has not been seen since May 24; her body also has not been found. Michelle Troconis, Fotis Dulos' ex-girlfriend, and Kent Mawhinney, an attorney and friend of Fotis, have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder in connection with the case.
