Stolen New Canaan Car Recovered After Trumbull Chase: PD
One of the suspects tried to escape police, but was captured.

TRUMBULL, CT — Police arrested two people as they returned to a parked stolen car at the Trumbull Mall, according to police.
New Canaan Police contacted Trumbull Police to let them know a vehicle stolen from their town may be in the area of the mall. New Canaan Police were able to electronically track the vehicle.
Officers spotted the vehicle near the Madison Avenue entrance. Officers surrounded the car and captured the would-be driver while the passenger attempted to run away, police said.

Tyler Ballew, 19, of Bridgeport was captured after a brief foot chase. He and the 17-year-old male were charged with first-degree larceny and interfering with police.
