Teens Charged with New Canaan DUI, Forgery
Two teens were arrested after a motor vehicle stop.
NEW CANAAN, CT- A 19-year-old man was charged with DUI and forgery after he was found driving under the influence in town, according to police.
An officer pulled over Matthew Cirillo, 19, of Stamford due to an expired registration plate on May 30.
The officer detected an odor of burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle, according to police.

Cirillo admitted to smoking an hour earlier. He failed field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest, police said.
Police recovered a grinder with marijuana residue, a hash oil vaporizer, hash oil, rolling papers, a marijuana cigarette and a fake Connecticut driver's license.

Cirillo was charged with DUI, possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to carry insurance ID card and operating an unregistered vehicle.
A passenger admitted to owning the fake license and was charged with second-degree forgery, police said.
