Two packages were stolen in New Canaan recently.
A person called police on Dec. 21 to report finding two empty boxes labeled Amazon on the side of Benedict Hill Road.
Police found the rightful owner of the boxes. It was determined that they were delivered by USPS on Dec. 19. A fleece vest valued at $32.81 and a Transformer toy valued at $48.99 were taken.
