Wallet stolen from Waveny House
A woman reported that her wallet was stolen from the Waveny House on July 22.
The 20-year-old woman put her bag down around 11:30 a.m. She found her wallet had been taken upon returning shortly after 1 p.m.

Her driver’s license, several ID cards, a credit card and insurance cards were missing, police said.
The building was open to the public at the time.

People turn themselves in on active failure to appear warrants
Two people turned themselves in at headquarters on active failure to appear warrants.
A 37-year-old New Canaan woman went to headquarters on July 21. She had failed to respond to a speeding infraction.
A 42-year-old Stamford man turned himself in after he failed to respond to a 2014 infraction for unsafe backing.
Both were released after posting bond.
