WEATHER UPDATE: More Snow Accumulation Now Predicted For New Canaan

The National Weather Service has increased it's snowfall accumulation estimate from this morning.

Since early this morning the National Weather Service has upped its snowfall accumulation for the area as more cold air is expected to keep more of the precipitation as snow on Monday as opposed to mixed precipitation.

This morning the National Weather Service predicted 1-3 inches of snow and ice accumulation as the precipitation was expected to mainly be a mixed bag.

Well that’s changed and the National Weather Service is now predicting 2-5 inches of snow and up to a quarter of an inch of ice.
