Woman Arrested After Walking Away From New Canaan Car Crash: PD
The one-car crash occurred on Jan. 13.

NEW CANAAN, CT — A 55-year-old Cheshire woman was arrested on a warrant by New Canaan police Wednesday in connection with a one-car crash on Jan. 13 in which she and another person walked away before police arrived, according to authorities.
Arrested on a charge of evading responsibility was Laura Naclerio Zullo, of Bluefield Court. She was released after posting a $5,000 bond.
The crash occurred at about 11:30 p.m. on Canoe Hill Road near Laurel Road, according to police. Zullo's car slammed into a concrete median barrier "and then traveled off of Canoe Hill Road and struck a stone wall and trees."

By the time officers arrived at the scene, no one was in the vehicle, and a witness said that they saw two people walk away from the crash. The two did not appear to be injured.
Zullo is the registered owner of the vehicle, and as such was charged. But New Canaan police said that despite an investigation, they could not determine who was driving at the time.
