Woman Arrested On DUI Charge Following 1-Car New Canaan Crash: PD
The suspect turned herself into New Canaan Police Headquarters on Dec. 11.

NEW CANAAN, CT — A 37-year-old Norwalk woman was arrested on a warrant charging her with reckless driving and drinking while driving in connect with a one-car crash in New Canaan on Nov. 21, according to police.
Emily Anne Hogan, of West Avenue, surrendered to New Canaan police on Dec. 11 and was released after posting a $5,000 bond.
The crash occurred just after 9 p.m. on Parade Hill Road in New Canaan. "It was determined upon investigating the accident scene that the vehicle being operated by Hogan had skidded in the roadway for approximately 85 feet, then struck a storm drain, traveled up an embankment" and hit a tree, according to authorities.

"Inside of the vehicle an empty bottle of beer was located as well as an open and partially full bottle of wine."
Hogan is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Dec. 22.
