Woman Charged After Hit-And-Run At New Canaan School: Police
The incident occurred at about 6:15 p.m. Monday.

NEW CANAAN, CT — A 66-year-old Norwalk woman was charged with evading responsibility Monday evening after she allegedly backed her vehicle into a parked vehicle at Saxe Middle School in New Canaan and drove off, according to police.
No injuries were reported in the 6:15 p.m. crash, and through an investigation following the incident, New Canaan police identified Barbara C. Blake, of Fillow Street, as the suspected driver.
Blake was contacted by police and turned herself into police headquarters later Monday evening where she was issued a misdemeanor summons for evading and unsafe backing.

She was released on a promise to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on June 26.
