Y and Coach Mike Evans to Host Griffin Conway Memorial 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament September 30
The event will be held on Tuesday, September 30 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Saxe Middle School and will be open to boys and girls in grades 3-8.

The New Canaan YMCA and New Canaan High School Boys’ Basketball Head Coach, Mike Evans, will be hosting a special 3-on-3 basketball clinic and tournament in memory of Griffin Conway.

As a Y-Ball volunteer coach, Conway mentored younger players, promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and self-confidence, along with helping to foster a love for the game.
The event will be held on Tuesday, September 30 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Saxe Middle School and will be open to boys and girls in grades 3-8. The event will begin with drill instruction and tips for 3-on-3 play led by Coach Evans, followed by the 3-on-3 tournament, and the event will wrap up with a knockout shooting tournament. Participants will be placed on teams at the event.
