1 Killed In New Haven Double Shooting: Reports

The victim, a 24-year-old man from Pennsylvania​, was shot multiple times before he died, according to reports.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A Pennsylvania man was killed and another was injured in a shooting on Shepard Street in New Haven on Friday, according to multiple reports citing police.

NBC Connecticut reports the shooting happened around 2 p.m. near Read Street. Both victims were shot multiple times, according to the station.

One victim, a 24-year-old man from Pennsylvania, was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries, Fox 61 reported.

The other victim, a 40-year-old New Haven man, walked into Yale New Haven Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to NBC.
