Mayor Toni Harp was re-elected to a third term and makes less than many of her other Connecticut city counterparts.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Mayor Toni Harp is seeking a $10,000 raise to her salary after she easily won a third term in the position. Harp currently makes $131,000 and is paid less than the chief of police, public health director and corporation counsel.

Harp also makes much less than many of her other big city counterparts in Connecticut with both Stamford and Hartford mayors pulling in $30,000 more, according to the New Haven Register.

The Board of Alders will consider the request.
