3 Injured After Car Crashed Into CTown Supermarket Monday: Report

NEW HAVEN, CT —Three people were hurt when a car crashed into the Greenwich Avenue CTown grocery store Monday morning, according to a report.
WTNH reported that the driver of the car, a store employee and a customer were injured in the crash that shuttered the supermarket while it was inspected by city building officials.
The station also reported that New Haven's emergency operations director Rick Fontana said it was likely that the driver "suffered a medical emergency before the crash." He was also quoted as saying that the injuries were not serious, though all three were taken to Yale New Haven Hospital.
