47 Arrested In New Haven Drag Racing Bust

Police have reportedly charged 47 people in connection with illegal drag racing.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Police have arrested 47 people and one juvenile in connection with illegal drag street racing, according to FOX 61. The arrests focused on drag racers on Foxon Boulevard.

Business owners in the area had voiced concerns to the department about the racing. The most popular location for the racers was the McDonald's on Foxon Boulevard.

Police towed 10 vehicles in the bust. All suspects have been issued a promise to appear in court, FOX 61 reported.
