CT: New Haven's Union Station to get upscale bar, shops, restaurants as part of $15M state revamp (masstransitmag.com) — New Haven's Union Station is getting a $15.7 million state-funded interior revamp, adding a mezzanine bar, wellness room, upgraded restrooms, and new shops and restaurants by the end of next year. 2. 15 displaced after fire on Liberty Street in New Haven (wtnh.com) — Fifteen residents were displaced Wednesday afternoon after a house fire on Liberty Street in New Haven, though firefighters brought the blaze under control in about 45 minutes and reported no injuries. Liberty Street at Portsea and Carlisle at Cedar were temporarily closed, and local officials are now focused on helping affected neighbors recover and find housing.
3.
