Attempted New Haven Bank Robbery Investigated
Police are asking for the public's help to identify a suspect.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Police are investigating a robbery at the TD Bank branch located on Foxon Boulevard. Police were dispatched to the bank at 10:49 a.m. Jan. 26.
No one was harmed during the robbery, said Officer David Hartman, police spokesman. A stock man entered the bank dressed in a lime green reflective vest with orange fluorescent stripes on it over a white or cream colored jacket.
He had on blue jeans splattered with paint, a yellow hard hat over a black knit cap and Timberland-style boots. He had a goatee and wore glasses with a grey scarf.

No weapon was displaced, but the robber gestured as if he had one concealed.
He made off with nothing and fled toward the nearby Walmart store.
