AVANGRID Shares Joy Of Reading In New Haven
Volunters dropped by New Haven and Ansonia elementary schools recently to share their love of literacy with local schoolchildren.

From AVANGRID: Nineteen volunteers from AVANGRID, Inc. (NYSE: AGR) and its subsidiaries in Connecticut dropped by New Haven and Ansonia elementary schools recently to share their love of literacy with local schoolchildren.
Ten employee volunteers spent the morning of Oct. 27 with kids in kindergarten through third grade at Wexler-Grant Elementary School in New Haven. Another group of nine visited classrooms at John C. Mead School in Ansonia.
The Read Aloud Day event was organized by AVANGRID’s Employee Volunteer Council in Connecticut. AVANGRID, a diversified U.S. energy company, is the parent company of Orange-based United Illuminating and Southern Connecticut Gas, and East Hartford-based Connecticut Natural Gas.
