Eventually there will be 30 stations throughout the city.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A bike-sharing program is making its way to New Haven after being approved by the City Plan Commission. At first there will be nine bike-sharing stations, which will expand to 30 by the spring.
A cellphone app or membership card can be used to pay for the short-term rentals, according to the New Haven Register. The minimum rental time is 45 minutes.
Eventually stations will be in the downtown, Fair Haven, East Rock, Newhallville and Hill neighborhoods.
