Body Found Monday Morning Outside Downtown Soup Kitchen: Police

Police told Patch that the person had "no visible trauma," and their cause of death will be determined by autopsy.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A body was found early Monday morning on State Street near the Evening Downtown Soup Kitchen, police confirmed.

There were few details available, but New Haven Police Department spokesperson Capt. Rose Dell said that the body had, "no visible trauma." She added that police investigators would "await the results of the autopsy."
