Cops Investigating Early Morning Shooting On Grafton Street

At 7 a.m., police got a Shotspotter alert and an emergency call about a gunshot victim at the intersection of Grafton and Rowe streets.

NEW HAVEN, CT — After a gunshot rang out at 7 Tuesday morning, cops found a gunshot victim on the sidewalk on the 100 block of Grafton Street, police said.

Police got a Shotspotter alert and an emergency call about a gunshot victim at the intersection of Grafton and Rowe streets, a New Haven police spokesperson said.

The injured man was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital for a gunshot wound to the leg, which was deemed non-life-threatening, according to Sgt. Cherelle D. Carr.
