Cops Need Help To ID Body Found Floating In Quinnipiac River Sunday
Police were called to Front Street on the river at around 4 p.m. and found a body, that was "pronounced deceased" by NHFD paramedics.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Sunday at around 4 p.m, police were called to the banks of the Quinnipiac River at Front Street and, there, found the as-yet unidentified body floating, New Haven police spokesperson Capt. Rose Dell said.
The New Haven Fire Department recovered the body, which was "pronounced deceased on the scene by a paramedic," Dell said.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner arrived and took the body to Farmington, Dell said. No identification has been made at this time, and the investigation is ongoing, she added.

"The New Haven Police Department is working diligently to determine the identity of the
deceased and the circumstances surrounding their death," Dell said.
"We urge anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward and assist with the
investigation," she asked.
