Gunshot Victim Treated At Hospital As Cops Search For Crime Scene: PD
New Haven police spokesperson Capt. Rose Dell said cops were unable to "locate any cooperative witnesses or a formal crime scene."

NEW HAVEN, CT — Police said they do not know where a gunshot wound victim being cared for by medical staff at the St. Raphael campus of Yale-New Haven Hospital Thursday night was shot.
New Haven police spokesperson Capt. Rose Dell said that they were unable to "locate any cooperative witnesses or a formal crime scene."
It was around 8:20 p.m. when police were called to the hospital and learned the victim's injury was determined to be non-life threatening, Dell said.

There were no ShotSpotter activations in the city around the time of the shooting, Dell said. She added that the Hamden Police Department received a report of gunshots in their town but when police went to the hospital, were also unable to determine whether the incident occurred in their jurisdiction.
The New Haven Police Department is currently investigating this incident and encourages
