Homeless Man Returns Lost $10k Check In New Haven
The woman, who herself was once homeless and now owns several companies had the $10,000 check returned by a homeless man.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A city woman who lost a $10,000 check while walking near Temple and Chapel Streets had it returned by a homeless man.
Roberta Hoskie who herself was once homeless and now owns multiple companies didn't realize she lost the check Wednesday, according to the New Haven Register.
Elmer Alvarez saw the check and returned it to her a short time later. Hoskie gave Alvarez another check as a reward and offered him free classes at her real estate school.
