K2 Leads To 13 Hospitalizations In New Haven
The synthetic drug can lead to dangerous adverse reactions.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Thirteen people were hospitalized after using synthetic marijuana July 4, according to city officials.
The incidents happened between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Many of those hospitalized quickly recovered, according to the New Haven Register.
K2 also known as Spice are synthetic cannabinoid drugs that can cause elevated heart rate, hallucinations, anxiety and other adverse effects, according to the DEA.
