Man Charged With Bank Robbery Offenses
He is accused of robbing a Milford and Orange bank and trying to rob an East Haven bank.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A city man was charged with robbing two banks and attempting to rob a third. Vincent Jones, 50, pleaded not guilty to all charges in federal court.
He attempted to rob the Key Bank in East Haven on July 31, 2017, according to the U.S. Attorney District of Connecticut office.
He stole more than $5,400 from Webster Bank in Orange on the same day and robbed the Bank of America at 1331 Boston Post Road in Milford of more than $6,500 on Aug. 8, 2018, according to the office.

Jones faces up to 20 years in prison on each count. He was detained in August on related state charges.
