Man Robbed Victim Of iPhone 8: New Haven PD
The robber pointed a gun at the victim and took the phone, the victim told police.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A man known as "Wavy" was arrested after he robbed a victim of an iPhone 8 Plus on Oct. 28, according to police.
A 21-year-old man said he had gone to the 400 block of Valley Street to sell the phone to an acquaintance of a 19-year-old friend who accompanied him, said Officer David Hartman, police spokesman.
"Wavy" agreed to a $1,000 payment, but instead pulled out a gun and took the phone without payment, the victim told police. "Wavy" took off running.

Veteran West Hills Officer John Lalli was asked if he knew anyone who went by "Wavy." He knew him as Tyquan Hill, 18, of Victory Drive. Police went to his home and after a brief discussion gave up the location of the phone in his room, Hartman said. No gun was found.
Hill was charged with first-degree robbery and second-degree larceny.
