Man Robbed While Trying To Buy Heroin: New Haven PD
He told police he wasn't happy with his Connecticut visit and wanted to leave the state.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A self-described "wanderer" from Washington state was robbed of cash after he tried to score some heroin, police said.
The 57-year-old man approached beat officers the night of Sept. 3 to say he was robbed in the Farnam Court Hosuing Complex, said Officer David Hartman, police spokesman.
He said he knew a man named "Mark" and the two set off to buy heroin and beer. He gave Mark $20 and that was the last he saw of him.

He then gave someone named "Trish" $20 to buy heroin and she did return with heroin. Neither he or Trish had syringes and the two went to a nearby apartment, Hartman said. The victim assumed it belonged to Trish, but it didn't and he was robbed of his remaining $8 by three men and possibly Mark.
He was unable to describe his assailants to police.
