Man Stabs Ex-Girlfriend In Home Invasion: New Haven PD
The woman's current boyfriend ran out after the attack, police said.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Police are looking for a 23-year-old Bridgeport man after he allegedly stabbed his ex-girlfriend during a home invasion.
A woman was stabbed in the torso in the 700 block of Dixwell Avenue June 19 before 2 a.m., said Officer David Hartman, police spokesman. Her current boyfriend heard a noise from the living room and saw the man climbing his way through the living room window.
The current boyfriend retreated to the bedroom and locked the door, burt the ex armed himself with a kitchen knife and kicked in the door, Hartman said. He then stabbed the woman while the current boyfriend grabbed his pants and took off through the back door.

The knife was recovered at the scene. The woman's 6-month-old baby was in the bedroom and unharmed.
Hartman said the assailant is looking at a multitude of charges when captured including home invasion.
