Men Riding Quads Rob Victim: New Haven PD
The victim was slashed in the neck and shoulder.
NEW HAVEN, CT — An intoxicated man was blindsided by a group of robbers who rode up riding quads, assaulted him and stole his belongings Aug. 19 before 8:30 p.m., according to police.
The victim had slash wounds to his shoulder and neck and told detectives he was standing at the corner of Lamberton and Hurlburt Streets when the robbery occurred. To sign up for New Haven breaking news alerts and more, click here.
Robbers stole his wallet that contained $40. His injuries aren't life threatening, said Officer David Hartman, police spokesman.
