MTA Police Seek Help To ID New Haven Union Station Shooting Suspects
After a dispute on a train continued onto the platform, gunshots rang out, with a man shot and critically wounded.

NEW HAVEN, CT —The Metropolitan Transportation Authority Police Department is seeking assistance from the public to identify two suspects allegedly involved in a shooting at New Haven Union Station Wednesday night.
At around 8:30 p.m., a report of shots-fired at Union Station was received by the MTAPD. It was discovered, authorities said, that a man had been shot multiple times.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim and two other individuals were on a train when a dispute began that continued on the platform between tracks 12 and 14, where there was gunfire targeting the victim, according to the transit police.

Following the shooting, two suspects fled and the victim entered a nearby train, police said. Responding medics transported the injured man to Yale-New Haven Hospital in critical condition.
