New Haven Business Owner Pleads Guilty To Tax Offense
The business owner under-reported his nephew's actual income and bilked the IRS out of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

NEW HAVEN, CT — The owner of a New Haven printing company pleaded guilty to a federal tax offense.
Louis Goldberg, 71, owns Good Copy Printing Center and employed his nephew Ira Malkin as a principal salesman. Between 2003 and 2012 Goldberg pay many of Malkin's personal expenses and reduced his commissions by the amount of personal expenses the company paid, according to the U.S. Attorney District of Connecticut.
In effect Malkin reported substantially less income than he earned on his W-2 forms and paid less taxes than he should've, according to the attorney's office.
