New Haven City Employee Accused Of Larceny: Police
New Haven police said the employee collected nearly $11,500 in fraudulent overtime over four months.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A New Haven city employee is facing charges after authorities said she collected nearly $11,500 in fraudulent overtime in four months.
New Haven police said Dennice M. Pair, an employee with the City of New Haven's Office of Building Inspection and Enforcement, was charged with first-degree larceny after a City Hall representative notified authorities about the suspected fraud.
According to police, Pair is accused of collecting $11,485.39 in unauthorized overtime pay between July and October 2022. Police said she manually entered the overtime into the city's payroll system.

Pair turned herself in to authorities Friday. Her bond was set at $5,000.
It's unclear if Pair is still employed with the City of New Haven.
