
NEW HAVEN, CT — New Haven Public Schools Coach Larry Kelley was voted Coach of the Year by the Connecticut High School Coaches Association.
Kelley has led the Career High School boys basketball team for 11 years as head coach. He has coached at the school for 21 years.
“Coach Kelley has been a mentor and instructor for a generation of student athletes at Career High School," said Superintendent Dr. Reginald Mayo. "He has won many games and titles over the years but I am most grateful for the individual attention and support he has provided hundreds of athletes and thousands of students at Career whose lives he has touched for the better.”
