New Haven Deli Opens Larger Location

A popular deli has opened its new location that is three times the size of the original.

NEW HAVEN, CT - Today is opening day for Zoi’s new location on Grove Street.

One of the most popular delicatessens in New Haven has completed its move from its cramped Orange Street location to a spot three times larger on Grove Street to accommodate its loyal customer base.

The new location, a 3,000-square-foot building, is much close to the bustling downtown lunch crowd.

Zoi’s owner, Peter Maniatis, was very busy on Friday, but gave a quick “Yes sir,” when asked if the delicatessen was open at its new location.

In a previous interview, Maniatis said the reason for the move was, “We just need more space for our customers.”

Zoi’s, which is named after Maniatis’ wife, is open for breakfast, lunch and does catering.
