New Haven Falling Death Determined To Be Suicide: PD

NEW HAVEN, CT — City police have determined that a woman who fell to death from the Air Rights garage on York Street was a suicide.

"The conclusion of the department’s investigation is that there was no foul play or influence by another person that resulted in the woman’s death," said Officer David Hartman, police spokesman.

In an unrelated case police don't suspect foul play in the death of a 35-year-old city woman. She was found dead in her Court Street apartment Thursday.

Her body was taken by the state Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for autopsy.
