New Haven K2 Guilty Plea Made
A man was arrested following the mass overdose on the New Haven Green.

NEW HAVEN, CT — City man Quentin Staggers, 47, pleaded guilty to possession of K2 in federal court following the mass overdose case that led to dozens of victims being hospitalized in the city during July.
Staggers, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute K2, a synthetic cannabinoid. Investigators pulled trash from Staggers' residence on Farren Avenue and found suspected K2 packaging, according to the U.S. Attorney District of Connecticut office. The tests confirmed the presence of AMB-Fubinaca, a powerful synthetic cannabinoid.
He faces up to 20 years in prison.
