The 10-year term will run concurrently with 25 years Edward Walker is serving on a Florida sex trafficking case.
NEW HAVEN, CT —A 50-year-old New Haven man will spend 10 years in a federal prison for producing child pornography, according to the Justice Department.
Edward Walker was sentenced Tuesday by U.S. District Judge Michael P. Shea in Hartford to 120 months, followed by 10 years of supervised release.
According to Vanessa Roberts Avery, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, court documents and statements made in court, in June and July 2019, Walker made two cell phone videos of himself engaging in sexual activity with a 16-year-old girl. The teen was a "runaway from foster care and dependent on Walker for housing, food, and other necessities," Avery said.
