New Haven Man Arrested After Gun, Stash Of Drugs Found In Car

NEW HAVEN, CT — A New Haven man is facing multiple weapons and narcotics charges after police found a large stash drugs and a gun in his car, according Connecticut State Police.

Quezon A. Jones, 33, a convicted felon, was arrested Thursday night around 11 p.m. after authorities discovered information that he was involved in narcotics distribution and obtained a search warrant.

Police seized $463, a Glock 9 mm gandgun altered with a converted trigger switch to allow the weapon to fire in full auto and altered serial numbers, an extended 30-round magazine with ammunition, approximately 18.2 grams of cocaine, approximately 10.3 grams of fentanyl, marijuana and drug packaging materials from Jones and his car.
