New Haven Man Arrested In Relation To Overdose Death
Federal authorities are prosecuting a man after a fatal heroin/fentanyl overdose.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A city man was arrested in connection with a fatal overdose. Curtis Draughn, 62, was arrested Wednesday on charges of distributing a controlled substance. New Haven Police and other emergency responders found an overdose victim slumped over the steering wheel in a parked car on Read Street during December 2016.
The victim was taken to the hospital where he was placed on life support. He was taken off of life support and died on Dec. 26, 2016, according to the U.S. Attorney District of Connecticut.
It's alleged that the victim bought heroin containing fentanyl from Draughn shortly before he died, according to the U.S. Attorney's office.
