New Haven Man Broke Into Milford Business: Police

The accused was held on a $40,000 bond.

MILFORD, CT — Milford police say a New Haven man is accused of breaking into a business and stealing money. On Feb. 19, police took custody of Michael Ross, 48, of Valley Street, in regard to an active arrest warrant, police said.

Ross is accused of breaking into a Route 1 business during the overnight hours on Nov. 27, 2016 causing $900 worth of damage to the door and taking the money from the cash register along with several items from the business, police said.

He is charged with third-degree burglary, sixth-degree larceny and third-degree criminal mischief. He is being held in lieu of a $40,000 bond.
