New Haven Man Convicted In 2021 Screwdriver Stabbing: State's Attorney
Jesse Miller was found guilty in connection with the incident where he "stabbed the victim numerous times with a screwdriver:" Prosecutor.
NEW HAVEN, CT — A New Haven jury found Jesse Miller guilty of an August 2021 stabbing, per State’s Attorney John P. Doyle, Jr.
Miller was convicted of first-degree attempt to commit assault and second-degree assault, Doyle said.
According to evidence introduced at trial, Miller stabbed the victim numerous times with a screwdriver in New Haven on August 9, 2021, per Doyle. The victim received wounds to his lip, right chest, and a defensive wound to his right arm, he said.

Miller, who is scheduled to be sentenced May 2, was arrested on scene by the New Haven Police Department.
