New Haven Man Struck Parked Car In Milford, Fled On Foot: Police
The accused was also wanted on a warrant for a prior incident, police said.

MILFORD, CT — A New Haven man is accused of being involved in a motor vehicle accident in Milford and then fleeing the scene on foot, police said. The man was also wanted by police in Shelton and was also found to be in possession of narcotics, Milford police said.
On Sept. 26, officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on West Rutland Road near Benneville Road in which the offending driver had fled the scene on foot, police said. Milford police officers located the offending driver, Kyle Godin, 19, of Pond Lily Avenue in New Haven, on Grinnell Street near Naugatuck Avenue, police said.
The offending vehicle had struck a parked vehicle and showed to be unregistered and having no insurance and Godin showed to not have a license, police said. Further investigation accuses Godin of being in possession of heroin and Xanax, police said. Also Godin showed to have an active warrant for his arrest in Shelton for failing to appear in court last month on a creating a public disturbance charge from Feb. 18.

He is charged with possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, evading responsibility, second-degree failure to appear, and motor vehicle violations.
