New Haven Mayor Toni Harp Faces Primary Challenge

Harp has served for the past two terms as mayor.

NEW HAVEN, CT – Democratic incumbent Mayor Toni Harp will face a primary challenge on Sept. 12th in her effort to win a third term as New Haven’s chief executive.

Harp will face a challenge from Marcus Paca, the city’s former labor relations director, who secured enough signatures as a petitioning candidate, to force a primary.
