New Haven Resident Wins $30,000 Lottery Prize
The winning ticket was also sold by a New Haven business.
NEW HAVEN, CT — A New Haven resident won $30,000 after purchasing a winning lottery ticket this week, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
On Thursday, Schymon Griffin purchased a 30X Cash 10th Edition ticket from Amaya Grocery in New Haven and won $30,000, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
The CT Lottery furnishes winner information as public record. The Connecticut Lottery only publishes names of people who win $10,000 or more, which officials claim is quite common.
